Barefoot Hollow Pet Policy

We love our furry friends and welcome them to Barefoot Hollow RV Resort! For the safety of all guests, please review our pet policy and adhere to the guidelines.

Pet Policy:

Non-aggressive pets are welcome. All pets must have up-to-date vaccination records and registration. Proof of these items may be required by Barefoot Hollow during your stay. Failure to produce valid documentation will result in immediate removal from the resort. There is a maximum of three pets on RV sites (no size limitations) and one dog (35lbs or less) in our designated pet-friendly cabins. No wild or exotic animals are allowed.

Noisy, vicious, or unruly pets are not allowed. Guests who are unable to control their pets will be asked to remove them from the premises, or the animal may be taken by local animal control authorities.

Barefoot Hollow RV Resort and its Management / Owners are not responsible for and will hold the pet owner accountable for any injury or damage caused by pet(s). In addition, the owner of the pet that causes injury or damage is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party.

Pets are the responsibility of their owner(s). Pets must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times while within the Resort, except while in the on-site dog parks. Pet fences are allowed under the condition that they are free-standing and not staked to the ground in any way, and do not extend beyond your assigned campsite. We advise pet fences not to be left outside unattended. Barefoot Hollow is not responsible for loss or damage to any pet fences. Pets may not be left outside unattended.

Pets are part of the family, and part of the fun! Pets are welcome in our outdoor common areas (with the exception of the pools and hot tubs). Pets must be kept on a leash in these areas, and if a pet shows any signs of aggressive behavior, the owner(s) will be asked to remove the pet from the area for the safety of our other guests. We ask that pets follow the "Four on the Floor" rule and do not jump or climb on any tables, bar tops, chairs, fire pits, or other guests not part of your party.

Pets are prohibited in ALL resort buildings, restrooms, pools, restaurants, and bars. However, they can join you if you are using the outdoor setting areas.

Fenced-in Dog Parks are available throughout the resort.

Pet owners must pick up and discard pet waste upon occurrence. All pet waste must be properly disposed of in a trash receptacle.

Pets should not be left alone inside a cabin or RV. From time to time, our area has power outages due to lightning or other circumstances unrelated to our Resort Operations. Even though these events are infrequent, they could cause devastating consequences due to heat buildup if your pet is left alone inside.

Pet-Friendly Cabana Cabins:

We have a small, designated number of pet-friendly cabins. If you are in a cabin that is not permitted for pets, please do not bring a pet into the cabin. Any additional cleaning or repairs due to having pets in cabins will be assessed and charged to the reservation holder.

Pets are not to be left alone in a cabin, as this can result in excessive barking, howling, or property damage. Leaving unattended pets may result in the guest being asked to leave the premises.
